It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Andy Haines, a devoted father, volunteer, and beloved member of the Salford City Roosters family. Andy’s three boys have grown up with rugby at the Roosters, and he was always there on the sidelines, cheering them on and giving his time generously to our club. His warmth and commitment touched so many lives, and his presence will be deeply missed.
As a club, we stand united in support of Andrea and the boys. The Roosters family is here for them now and will continue to be by their side in the years to come. Andy’s legacy lives on in the spirit of our community, and we ask all of our extended Roosters family to rally behind his family during this time.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Andrea with immediate expenses and to help provide the boys with the opportunities and activities Andy would have wanted for them. Any contributions, no matter the size, will go a long way in supporting them during this difficult time.
Please join us in honoring Andy Haines’s memory by helping his family when they need it most.
